The Syringe Holder provides increased
versatility in delivering small volume infusions complementing
Continuum's existing ability to infuse large volume medications from IV bags and
bulk fluid containters during MRI.
The Syringe Holder is part of the standard Continuum
system and is shipping with all new purchases. For current users of Continuum,

What is the Continuum Syringe Holder?
The Continuum Syringe Holder is a unique enhancement designed to increase the
versatility of the Continuum MR Compatible Infusion System. This holder quickly
attaches to the Continuum IV pole and holds a standard syringe from 20 to 60 mL.
The Continuum IV line attaches directly to the syringe* enabling the
administration of small volume infusions.
How will the Continuum Syringe Holder help me?
By attaching directly to a syringe, Continuum can help hospitals reduce priming
volumes and also reduce setup time. The versatility of the Continuum system also
eliminates the need to purchase separate systems for small and large volume
infusions.

How easy is it to setup and use?
MEDRAD designed the new Continuum Syringe Holder to easily connect to the
existing Continuum system. Simply snap the Syringe Holder to the Continuum IV
pole, connect a standard syringe (20 to 60 mL) to the Continuum IV line*, place
the syringe in the Syringe Holder, and proceed with normal setup and
programming. It's that easy!
How can I get one?
The Continuum Syringe Holder (part number 3011412) is now a standard part of
every Continuum MR Infusion System order. If you already have a Continuum
system, simply contact your MEDRAD sales representative to place an order.
* MEDRAD recommends the use of a
vented syringe adapter to optimize fluid delivery accuracy when infusing from a
