TLD 760 Dosimeter

Fully Automated Precision Response
Thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs) offer the versatility
to be used in all radiation environments by providing precise response to a
variety of radiation types. Thermoluminescent dosimeters also offer the
advantage of long wear periods due to their resistance to environmental
factors such as heat and humidity. The TLD 760 badge utilizes four lithium
fluoride thermoluminescent elements. This combination responds accurately to
neutron, as well as, beta, gamma and X-ray radiation. The TLD 760 allows for
accurate reporting of deep, lens of eye and shallow doses, and has a thin
mylar window for detection and measurement of low energy beta radiation.

Applications
Any occupational worker with potential exposure to gamma,
X-ray, beta and/or neutron radiation.
Nuclear medicine facility, nuclear power plants, universities, hospitals,
research facilities and research diagnostic center employees with potential
exposure to gamma, X-rays, low and high-energy beta. Other applications
include: Nuclear power plants, accelerators, universities and research
facilities. Can easily be affixed to any facility wall for wide-ranging area
monitoring.
