Anderlift Plus™ Complete Lifting and Transport
System: "The Sheet and Transport System" ...A New Approach in
Patient Handling and comfort. Replaces gurneys and total-lifts. Eliminates
lateral transfers, slide boards, hover-mats, and excessive log-rolling.
"Sheet Lift and Transport System" - The Anderlift's sheet is the key. It
supports the patient in a secured sling. When lifted or transported, the
patient rests in a "semi-hammock" position created by a custom sheet,
nestled into the Anderlift™ frame. The sheet is placed on a bed or gurney
starting in ER, or Ambulance team, that places supine patients on either
surface. The sheet has straps that attach to buckles on the frame's
underside. To lift and transport, the staff simply pulls the straps through
the buckles and tightens, elevates, and transports patients to their
respective departments, e.g., Radiology, Surgery, Recovery, Radiation
Therapy, Cath Lab and back to bed again. The patient remains on the same
sheet during the entire process. The sheet molds to the patient's body
creating an enclosed sense of security.
