Four individually controlled curtains (top, bottom, left and right side of viewing screen) allow the user to collimate down to the exact size opening needed to block out excess light, and optimize the radiologist’s ability to discern minimal changes in density on the mammography study. Special high output ballasts and 12 fluorescent tubes give an extremely bright and flicker-free illuminated surface.
