The modern, attractive CLEAR-Pb Lead-Plastic X-Ray Shielding Window Panes
that go into all of our modular control booths are made of a unique,
transparent plastic that contains 30% lead by weight. Rugged and
shatter-resistant, these panes are easy to handle and install, thus
eliminating high construction costs.
Nuclear Associates' Modular Barriers have opaque panels that consist of a
plastic honeycomb sandwiched between two vinyl laminates. The panel is
lead-lined to provide 1.5 mm lead x-ray protection. The High-Style
panels are available in 16 decorator colors, making for a visually appealing
installation.
