The Leg Lift is a positioning aide used in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, to assure patient safety, radiation protection and to provide a true cross table lateral view of a fractured hip; to aide in surgical planning.
The Leg Lift can also be used anytime that you need to safely elevate a patients extremities. It has uses in Surgery to prep legs and hips, as an extremity support for casting in the orthopedic office and it can be used with Lymphedema patients to elevate the effected limb and allow for drainage of the lymph.
