Compact PET Shipping System for One Unit Dose Pig

For shipping syringes with or without
needles attached.
This Compact PET Shipping System is designed
to transport one (3 or 5 cc) single syringe, with or without needle
attached, containing high energy radionuclides. The system employs a unique
design that decreases the weight and size of the containers. The system
meets DOT Type A packaging requirements when shipping up to 500 mCi of FDG
F-18. Another feature of the system is that the shipping container can
remain at a level below the countertop. The technologist has to lift only
the unit dose pig. The entire system weighs 38.3 lb.
