Both
lenses and frames are designed with the safety and comfort of the
practitioner in mind. Our lenses are Schott RS-520 (also called SF-6)
leaded glass, the industry standard for radiation shielding glass. These
lenses meet standards, as set for optical clarity, visible light
transmission, power and prism correction.
While our eyewear is protecting your eyes, it also helps you
look your best. This combination of function and fashion give you optimal
protection and good looks. Attractive eyewear should be part of the daily

hazardous radiation!
No matter how attractive your eyewear, you'll want them to
be comfortable for long hours of use. This means that our lightweight frame
with special nose bridge and ear pieces, will distribute the weight for
greater comfort. All models feature 0.75mm lead equivalent protection in the
front lens and 0.30mm in the optional side shields. Our glass side shields
are .75mm LE. Lead sheet side shields are .5mm LE, and acrylic side shields
are .30mm LE.
The ultralight line of leaded eyewear are as much as 50%
lighter than other leaded eyewear and result in excellent combination of
comfort, function and protection. Advanced design and quality control
produce X-ray filtering eyewear that reduces 90% of scatter radiation to the
eye from front or side exposure. Featuring the new K.V. - 150 light weight
bifocal that is 40% thinner and 40% lighter than standard style leaded
bifocals.
