Bar-Ray offers the most complete line of cassette transfer cabinets of any
manufacturer. All are available lead-lined or unlined. Finish is putty. All
cabinet compartments will accommodate up to 14" x 17" cassettes, capacity
will vary depending on the particular brand of cassette used. Voice
transmission is standard on all models. Cabinets are not fire rated.
Options:
Automatic Interlock
locks the opposing Transfer Cabinet Door when either the inside or outside
door is opened. This prevents light infiltration into the darkroom.
Signalite is an
indicator light on the darkroom side of the Transfer Cabinet that lights
when a cassette is placed in the pass box. This alerts the darkroom
attendant that an exposed cassette/film is waiting.
The Rough in Frame,
while not required for Transfer Cabinet installation, makes the installation
less tedious or time consuming and also results in a cleaner installation.
The Rough in Frame is installed in the rough opening and finish plastered.
The Transfer Cabinet is then slid into the Rough in Frame and secured to
eliminate plaster and /or paint splashing etc.
Opposing Wall Trim
is used on the darkroom side of the installed Transfer Cabinet to provide a
more finished appearance and to help seal any small light leaks that may be
there.
Wall Supports are
used on the darkroom side to support the weight of the Transfer Cabinet that
projects into the darkroom. This may be required where the wall is made up
of metal studs or where the Transfer Cabinet does not rest on the darkroom
work surface.
